The name VIARI comes from the Romansch language, native to the Swiss Alps, and is derived from viadi — meaning “journey.” In older Romansch dictionaries, viari is described as a “travel book”: a collection of places, experiences, and discoveries gathered along the way.
That idea remains at the heart of VIARI today.
